The repeated airstrikes targeting the city of Derna have become difficult to ignore or turn a blind eye. Since there can’t be a justification for the bombing of innocent civilians in this way, which could further deepen the wounds, and destroy the national accord that we are trying to prevail over the country. At the same time,
we share with our people in Derna their pain which caused by these irresponsible attacks. We emphasize that we continue to work to end their suffering and work at the same time to unite and avoid division and discord, to achieve the safety and comfort of our people, who have suffered and are still suffering a lot. God saves our beloved city of Derna and provides its residents with patience, serenity and comfort.
